Linda Orban was born and raised in Northern Ontario amidst the rocky shores and landscapes of the boreal forest. Instilled with a love of nature she has focused on painting landscapes, trees and portraits in a variety of mediums including, watercolours, acrylics, oils and recently pastels.
Linda and her husband have raised two children in Northern Ontario. Upon retirement as a teacher they moved to the Regina area to be closer to family. She is a self-taught artist who paints for enjoyment and relaxation. Linda was inspired to paint by her artistic mother, who instilled in Linda a love of nature and beauty through her art.
Linda has exhibited in group exhibitions in Saskatchewan and Ontario. As a member of the Art Gallery of Regina and the Fort Qu'Appelle Art Guild, Linda is exited to join the Regina Federation of Artists. Linda's Motto is to keep painting every day and to continually find enjoyment in her work as an artist.
