Born and raised in Regina, Ken has always had a need to express himself through his art. A love of drawing and the influence of many teachers led Ken to painting murals and fine pin stripes on a number of cars in his high school years. After high school, in his limited spare time, he experimented with different media, including oils, acrylics, watercolours and woodworking. At age 40, he was inspired by a heap of scrap metal to try metal sculptures, and was hooked. The longevity of heavy metal was just the medium he was looking for. He combines his love of sport with the metal to produce amazing sculptures.
