Doreen was born, raised and married into the farm lifestyle.  Together with her husband, Gabriel, she lives on a farm near Raymore, SK. She began to paint for the first time in 2000, and has had many compliments about the peace and tranquility people see and feel in her paintings. Her style is impressionistic, and she uses both oil and acrylics.  Mountains, old buildings, skyscapes and prairie scenes are her favorite subjects. She has taken workshops at The Artists of Tomorrow at Saskatoon, Michael Lonechild, and Duane Harty.
