Possessed with both an interest in and aptitude for the arts, Deanne received recognition in High School for her talent, and was given special permission to take University art classes while still attending high school.  Deanne has studied drawing, pottery, sculpture, and painting. She has experimented with watercolour, oils, acrylic, and porcelain painting. She has had private lessons in Art and Design, and has had the rare pleasure of having received instruction from some of the pioneers of arts and culture in Saskatchewan.  Deanne holds Graphic Arts credentials and worked for some years in this field but gradually moved into Marketing, PR and Administrative work.
